ÇİRKİN

Based on Anatolian Tales, it is a surreal and heartwarming betrayal story that combines theater and interactive installation.

Reimagined from Anatolian traditions and folktales, it narrates a strange, occasionally humorous, and eerie story with an unknown time and place.

Specially crafted immersive sequences are designed for each scene. Digital designs, progressing parallel to the story and spatial elements, add another layer to the play.

An original creation of mythology!

The play intertwines two stories, one recounting the past of the irritable Shiva, who has lived for millennia, and the cursed Chicken, condemned to immortality alongside Shiva. It portrays both the characters' history and the contemporary clash between them.

Shiva and Chicken, to be seen on stage, are reconstructed narrators inspired by the meddah traditional art. These two characters, within an abstract stage design, create the entire narrative universe using their physical skills. At times, the audience transitions from their storytelling to the interactive visual universe on the walls, observing fragments of the story's past.
