Digilogue Artistic Director Lalin Akalan has undertaken the curation of Sónar+D Istanbul, which owns a series of events that bring the technology of the future together with creativity. Sonar +D, which took place at Zorlu PSM's Sky Lounge, Meydan Foyer and Sonar Hall, hosted many panel and AV performances.
In this period when technology shapes today's world, we put the limits of imagination aside and see the music-visual media feast together within the scope of Sonar+D, where creativity and digital are intertwined. This year's program hosted many visual shows that questioned the dimensions of reality. One of them was Justintonic, which revealed the relationship between the physicality of sound and movement by Gurur Gelen, Barış Büyükyıldırım and Erdal İnci. Ecem Dilan Köse's Human performance, Kerem Altaylar and Katran's Algorave Istanbul, and Introversion in collaboration with Character and Motus Lumina, which evoked a similar effect, were inspired by our inner thought patterns and emotional fluctuations, just like the meaning of its name. Zeliha Doğusan's Rogue work and Zo, which creates a virtual sound and light universe, are some of the memorable shows of the festival.
